“When Someone has great feel—whether it’s a drummer or guitar player—it kind of makes you fall in love with their personality. You realise what a beautiful person they are.”
This has happened to me so many times.
“I think the downside is these days is thinking, “that I can do all this on my own.” Yes you can do this on your own, but you’ll be a much happier human being to do it with other human beings, and I can guarantee you that.
A+ Mick.

Hi all,
So my sister and her husband decided to sell their house and 2 cars, bought a SUV which could tow a trailer and they set off for Texas. They left at the beginning of January and plan to stay down there for a few months. My sister is a really good writer and started up a travel blog documenting the sights they see, people they meet & the fun they are having. If any of you enjoy reading about travels I recommend you visit the blog. It’s worth a few good chuckles.

Today has been the weirdest! In order for this to make any sense to you all, I need to give you some backstory… Here’s the short version:
It turns out that a person who played a major role in making my favourite record of all time (Rumours) loves my songs and wanted to hear some of my other demos. Yesterday I sent a playlist full of demos over and I’ve been waiting anxiously to hear back since. Which brings us to today. This morning when I was getting ready, I turned on the radio and the song that was playing was “The Chain”, right at the chorus… Weird, I thought, that never happens! Then, while I was waiting in line at the grocery store, out of nowhere my ipod (which had been locked and in my purse) turned on and started playing “Shine” by Junkhouse. I thought it was someones cell phone ring tone but as people started looking at me I realized it was coming from my bag. As I pulled it out, the chorus was blaring - “It’s just a matter of time before we get to shine”, one of the most inspirational lyrics in my opinion. Now you still may be confused and wondering why I would deem this as being an odd day but I’m the kind of person who believes in signs and that everything happens for a reason. I can only hope that these signs mean that great things are on their way…
